While in Montana I was also able to take some photos of the Montana Rail Link. This was my first actual exposure to the MRL which was in itself exciting. Throughout the entire trip Mary was more than a true sport. Not only had she included in a number of railroad sites in our itinerary, she was also enthusiastic about all of the stops we made along the way so that I could snap a photo of this bridge or that water tower or that passing freight. I'm very thankful to Mary and consider myself very lucky to have been able to spend the so much time with her. (She is a very busy school principal!)Here is a selection of photos taken while visiting North Platt/Bailey Yard and the Ponderosa Ranch both in Nebraska. I'll share some more photos next in upcoming blogs.
On to New Beau City

There are three major parts within this project. The Moreland River (named after my grandfather, Grand Central Terminal, and the New Beau City peninsula.
