As yard leads go, the lead at Maryville is fairly small, but that works out ok as the yard itself is also pretty small, able to hold just a little over a dozen cars or so (depending on car sizes). With that said, although relatively small, the yard lead is going to make working the yard much more interesting and fun.
Last week I continued to work on Maryville and completed installing the locomotive service facility consisting of a coaling tower (Sunset Models/Golden Gate Depot), a water column (MTH), and an office/storage building (Atlas O). The MTH water column is not scale, but I like it so I decided to incorporate it in the service area. I still may include a sanding tower if I feel I can fit it in. I need to do a little more research to determine what would be appropriate for my primarily steam operation.
Below are a couple of photos taken of the locomotive servicing area in Maryville.
